What happens at the Croft

At The Croft we have a day programme for the children that runs between 9.00 in the morning until 3.30 in the afternoon. During this time the children are looked after by the staff at the Croft and take part in a range of activities. These includes going to the Croft school in the morning and taking part in groups in the afternoon. There are also break times when they can play indoors or outdoors.

During the day the children have keyworker teams who are responsible for their care. These are nurses whose role is to get to know the children very well and provide help and support as needed.

Parents or carers take over the care of their children after their residential programme has ended. There are always Croft staff on hand during the evening and at night to provide help if needed.
